Private dining
The Dining Room
The Dining Room is available for private hire, which is the 1st floor restaurant that overlooks Heddon Street. Please be aware that the openplan kitchen is located in the corner of this room.
The area will be roped off and the blinds will be pulled down although you will still be able to see and hear any noise generated from the kitchen on the day. We feel it adds to the ambiance of the room! The room also contains male and female toilets and a small bar so is self-contained, therefore, it’s ideal for private events.
For canapé and drinks receptions, 80% of the tables in The Dining Room can be removed. The remaining tables will be moved to the outskirts of the room to create a base for your guest to sit down.
Private hire of The Dining Room is based on a minimum spend (This depends on the date and times required). We do not request a room hire but require that the minimum spend is met on the day and that a 10% non-refundable deposit is paid in advance to secure your event.
The Dining Room is linked to our in-house sound system, which gives you the option of listening to our live entertainment or background music.
Alternatively, you are more than welcome to provide your own DJ to play your chosen selection of CDs although we cannot accommodate a mixing desk.We can also provide use of our projector and screen and use of our plasma TV.
The Lounge Area
The Lounge Area is situated in the main bar area and is where our grand piano is located. The Lounge Area is on a raised platform and can hold up to 60 - 70 guests. Red ropes are provided to make the area more private for your guests. For groups of 35 or more, this is not a problem as additional guests are more than welcome to stand in the main bar area (next to your reserved area). Your reserved area acts as a base for drinks and coats etc.
To hire this area there is a £500 minimum spend in place and a deposit of £100 is required to secure the booking.
The Small Bar Area
The Small Bar Area is situated in the main bar area and consists of four raised round tables with raised chairs and a long bank of sofa seating. This area is ideal for groups of 20-30 guests, bringing a few extra guests is not a problem as additional guests are more than welcome to stand in the main bar area (next to your reserved area) and this area works very well as a base for coats, drinks and nibbles.
We have a range of Canapés and Buffet selections that can be ordered for this area and we are more than happy to organise Champagne and Wine for your guest’s arrival.
Please be advised that the Living Room operates a dress code that includes no fancy dress or stag / hen party costumes. This is for the comfort and enjoyment of our other guests. Please contact directly for details to avoid disappointment
