The Living Room Newcastle is a cool and contemporary bar and restaurant; now over a decade in operation, we continue to uphold our reputation as one of Newcastle’s most stylish venues.

By day the venue is an ideal place to do business over a leisurely lunch, or recharge your batteries after a hard day shopping.

By night our bar comes alive with our delicious cocktails and is ideal for catching up with friends. The restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy fantastic food with loved ones, friends or colleagues and celebrate special occasions.

The venue is the perfect place to host private functions, whatever your party size. Our Basement Bar on the lower ground floor has a capacity of 200 whilst the restaurant can sit up to 130 guests. If you're looking for something a little more intimate you can reserve a booth or a section of the venue depending upon your requirements and subject to a minimum spend.

The Living Room Newcastle is a cool and contemporary bar and restaurant; now with ouver a decade of service we continue to uphold our reputation as one of Newcastle’s most stylish venues.
By day it is the ideal place to do business over a leisurely lunch, or recharge your batteries after a hard day shopping.
By night our sumptuous bar and restaurant are ideal for sipping one of our outstanding cocktails with friends, or enjoying fantastic food with loved ones, friends or colleagues.

The venue consists of a variety of areas that are perfect for private functions; Our Basement Bar on the lower ground floor has a capacity of 200 whilst the restaurant can sit up to 130 guests.We also offer private areas in both, subject to a minimum spend.

The Venue
The perfect blend of old meets new. Our Grade 2 listed building set over two floors is stunningly decorated in a warm modern style with exposed brick work and low lighting to create just the right atmosphere. The open
plan design of the first floor allows the lively atmosphere of the bar to seep into the restaurant without interrupting the diners.

The Restaurant
The restaurant can seat a maximum of 130 people, and can be exclusively hired (a minimum spend will apply) for private events. Or sections can be hired for the smaller event whether it be personal or business.

The Bar
The venue comprises of two bars. The Main Bar on the Ground
Floor can hold up to 80 people, whilst the Basement Bar on the
Lower Ground Floor can hold up to 200 people. As with the
restaurant, these bars can be hired exclusively (a minimum spend will apply) or in sections. Our excellent bartenders will be on hand to cover all your needs.

Entertainment

Musicians and DJ’s can be arranged for private functions if required.

Services for Business

The Living Room is ideally located in the heart of Newcastle’s City centre close to rail and bus links; therefore we offer several services for the corporate market. Our high level of service, combined with the discretion of our staff, creates a comfortable and professional atmosphere.

Wireless Internet

This complimentary service can be accessed throughout the venue.

Cocktail Masterclasses

Our Cocktail master classes are great fun, and ideal for a girls night out or an office team building event. For £25 per person you get your own private area, your own bartender and 3 drinks, personally perpared by you and your guests (with a little help!). Our experienced bartenders will show you everything you need to know, give you a little bit of history about the drinks, and keep you entertained with a flair show whilst you and your guests are enjoying the fruits of your labours.

Corporate Breakfasts

We also offer a corporate breakfast package ideal for those early meetings before you get to the office. Breakfast is served from 6am to 10am Monday to Friday and from 7:30- 10:30 on a Saturday if you’re working over time or just fancy treating yourself.

Event Organising

We offer a personalised service for organising and hosting corporate events to ensure you can relax and enjoy the event stress-free with the rest of your party.

Sales Ledger Accounts

A convenient way to entertain colleagues and clients. Having an account with us allows you, and up to four other nominated people, to sign for the bill and settle the invoice monthly.
