The historic Lace Market was once at the heart of the world's lace industry, The Living Room itself functioning as a showroom for lace manufacturers to parade and sell their designs. Today, it is a sophisticated, stylish piano bar and restaurant cultivating a chic, upbeat atmosphere.
Offering a capacity of 250 in our bar and 120 in the restaurant, we are available for private hire, from an intimate birthday meal to an extravagant business party. The Piano Bar
The legendary white baby grand piano is the charming back drop to the bar. In the evening, the talented live pianists create the perfect setting for your occasion.
Holding up to 250 guests, The Piano Bar is the ideal space to enjoy a finger buffet or a contemporary cocktail reception.
The Dining Room
The Dining Room offers a private hire capacity of 120 guests for dining. Previous events include fashions shows, corporate entertaining and product launches.
A minimum spend is normally required to exclusively hire the whole restaurant.
Entertainment
On a Thursday to Saturday evening, you can catch one of our talented resident musicians perform live music from the legendary baby grand piano. Covering a range of sounds from traditiional piano boogie woogie and blues through to rock and pop covers, our music calendar offers something for everyone.

From rugby to football you can follow all the top sporting action in the comfort of The Living Room.
