Spaces for hire
The venue consists of a variety of areas that are perfect for private functions. Our whole bar has a total capacity of 250, which can be separated into smaller spaces for more intimate events, whilst the restaurant can sit up to 160 guests. We offer exclusive areas throughout the venue with no hire fee: below is a list of the spaces we have available.
The Dining Room
The dining room has a private hire capacity of 160 for dining and up to 250 guests for drinks and canapés. Previous events include fashion shows, corporate entertaining and product launches. A minimum spend is normally required for exclusive hire of the whole restaurant.
The Board Room
This area provides exclusive dining, with its five comfortable leather booths seating up to 30 guests. With its sumptuous velvet curtains, this is an intimate, relaxed space. It is regularly booked for birthday celebrations, leaving parties, corporate and pre/post-wedding dinners and lunches.
The Piano Bar
Our bar has a total capacity of 250, which can be separated into smaller spaces for more intimate gatherings. At the heart of this space is our white baby grand piano.
The Cocktail Bar
This flexible area of the bar is adjacent to the private dining area and is perfect for pre-private dining receptions. For exclusive functions the Cocktail Bar can accommodate up to 100 guests (standing) and is popular for Champagne and canapé receptions.
The Lounge
The elegant and relaxing Lounge area is perfect for groups of up to 30 people.This area has been used for small postwedding celebrations, drinks and canapé receptions and is a quiet and professional area for small business meetings throughout the day.

Cocktail Masterclasses
Cocktail masterclasses are great fun and offer something a little different for any occasion, from team building events to girls’ nights out. Make a date with our professional cocktail bartenders; hear the history behind the drinks you are preparing and enjoy mixing and shaking your very own cocktails.

Music
In the evening you can catch one of our talented resident pianists perform live music on the baby grand piano from Thursdays through to Sundays.
Covering a range of sounds from traditional piano, boogie woogie, and blues through to rock and pop covers, our music calendar offers something for everyone; also check out our programme of visiting musicians.
DJ’s also play every Friday and Saturday night. They always create a fantastic atmosphere with their wide variety of music.
Sport
You can follow all the top sporting action at The Living Room. From the Six Nations rugby, to the World Cup and Wimbledon; follow in the comfort of The Living Room.
